colorway - SCIENTISTS
OK, here's what I've got so far.

Kepler - parchment tan and dark ink brown
Curie - radioactive green. WHAT?
Hawking - deep space midnight blue and chrome grey
Newton - apple red and dark ink brown
Sagan - deep space midnight blue and Cosmos logo orange
Goeppert-Mayer - computer paper green and dot matrix grey

LOL

OK, make up some more.

Alhazen: either rainbow stripes or silver-white with metallic strands. ;-)

Oooh, awesome. I've been mulling how to do the rainbow stripes.

Yay brown!!!
Love the theme.

Hee!!

Yeah, I'm kind of thinking I want a skein of the Kepler, myself...

The Kepler sounds just perfect... although so does the Newton :)
My daughter is horrified on a daily basis by my love for the color brown. Then again, she's a pink girl through and through. Pink and teal and all those girly things... Sigh.

Brown is great. I adore brown.

Galileo: something about him says "deep blue and gold" to me. Alternatively, the golds and browns and big red spot of Jupiter.

DaVinci: I think he should get the parchment tan and dark ink brown, and give Kepler something else.

Feynman: crazy rainbow colors, or perhaps a bright lemon yellow with flecks of everything else spotted through.

Heisenberg: it changes color every time you look at it. :-)

Ooo, I like the DaVinci, that's good. I'll change Kepler.

LOL about Feynman.

I actually just did that Galileo skein you mention, was wondering what to name it. ;p

LOLOLOL about the Heisenberg.

How about one for Ada Lovelace? (The first computer programmer)

Maybe tea-coloured, with tiny bits of inky black swirled throughout?

Or maybe the colour of a blackboard, with spots of pale chalk throughout?
